ABOUT:
Only one can win.
I should be dead. Instead, I’ve made it into the Top 13 of Spellcaster’s creature season.
Also, I may have murdered a bunch of vampires, but I can’t remember and Malachi’s story that they killed each other in a fight for power sounds too convenient. He’d rather cover it up and focus on the competition. Fine by me. I’m not looking to be exterminated; I’m here to win.
With each week leading to the finale, the stakes get higher, and the competition among species is fiercer than ever. I cannot afford distractions—especially not the male variety. But I already promised a kiss to a werewolf and am indebted to a wizard. Then there’s the up close and personal coaching sessions with Malachi Rayne. Why is he so keen to protect me? Our species are about as compatible as a lit match and a stick of dynamite.
I wish I could say justice for my family has been served, but corruption runs deep, and betrayal even deeper. To protect the loved ones I have left, I must hide the horrible truth. But that won’t stop me from seeking vengeance.
First, I need to win Spellcaster and the powerful prize that goes to the champion. But the vampires aren’t the only ones out to stop me and, once more, I don’t know who I can trust.
May the best caster win . . . and live to tell the tale.
